This privacy policy explains how PPEQuest (www.ppequest.com) processes personal data. It applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Visiting the website
The website is a static website hosted by cyon GmbH in Basel, Switzerland. When you visit, the server records technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, date and time, and browser information in log files. We use this data only to run and secure the website. Fonts are served from our own server; no data is sent to Google Fonts.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising trackers. To understand which articles are read, we use the privacy-friendly analytics service Umami (Umami Software, Inc.). Umami does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses or any other data that could identify you. Only aggregated information is recorded, such as pages visited, referring website, approximate country, and device type, browser and operating system.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address and first name to send it to you. The newsletter is sent with MailerLite (UAB "MailerLite", Vilnius, Lithuania), which stores the data in the EU. You confirm your subscription through a link in a confirmation email (double opt-in). If MailerLite cannot be reached at the moment you sign up, your email address is stored temporarily on our web server at cyon and added to MailerLite afterwards. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
If you request a free campaign kit, we use the same details to email you the download link, and you also receive the newsletter.
Shop
Digital products are sold through an external checkout provider, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) and processes your payment and billing data under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details to deliver your purchase and provide support.
Podcast and videos
The podcast page shows episode images stored on our own server; no YouTube or Spotify player is embedded. Only when you follow a link to YouTube, Spotify or Apple Podcasts do those services process your data, under their own privacy policies.
If you write to us, we use your message and contact details only to answer you.
Your rights
You can request information about your data, its correction or deletion, object to its processing, and – under the GDPR – request data portability and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us at hello@ppequest.com.
